Recent research indicates that women with blood levels of Vit D3 in the 50-70 ng/ml range seem to have 50% less risk of breast cancers. Men or women, who have blood levels above 34 ng/ml, get to enjoy 50% less colon cancer. And in a recent meta-analysis (pooled data from numerous studies) there is evidence that Vit D also modulates the immune response to colorectal cancers and may help control inflammatory bowel disease which can lead to cancer.
