Labyrinth
Our classic seven circuit labyrinth pattern provides a path for an introspective walking meditation. The Labyrinth Introduction Class teaches the ancient history of the labyrinth and walking techniques. Guests are encouraged to experience the labyrinth independently throughout their stay.
Meditation
Meditation is the opportunity to understand how to become quiet, intuitive and wise. Techniques range from mindfulness practices to guided visualizations. To become relaxed through meditation helps one to know what inner peaces is and how easy it is to achieve. One can come to know how to eliminate the burdens of stress and to soothe the soul. More than a mind vacation, meditation is your life tool that you can use anytime, any place.
Rhythm Experience
Everyone has rhythm! Learn how simple rhythms can be used to create sophisticated sounds. This class is definitely for those who have never played an instrument before or have lost their sense of rhythm. In no time at all, everyone will be playing drums and percussion instruments to make hip, cool and fun music.
Tai Chi
An introduction to this ancient Chinese system for achieving improved health and well being. Through slow and graceful movements, Tai Chi stimulates the flow of internal energy and strengthens the body. A healing art to some, a martial art to others, a moving meditation to all, it is easy to learn and simple to do. Find out why millions worldwide “Tai Chi it” every day of their lives.
Yoga
Classic Hatha Yoga postures are performed and assisted. Each of the certified instructors works closely with the guests to assure proper body alignment and movement precision. Breathing techniques are introduced as well as mental and physical relaxation exercises. Primarily a restorative yoga approach to allow bodies to recover from all of the physical demands of the hikes and other fitness classes. Yoga offers an alternative method of increasing muscle strength and endurance, flexibility and balance. ("Flow" or “Power Yoga” are available upon request for the more experienced yoga student.)
