Shamrock Shakes: The Cal-a-Vie Way

Make the popular St. Patrick's Day treat the Cal-a-Vie Health Spa way, void of any added sugars or unnecessary calories or ingredients. Our registered dietitians created this tasty recipe packed with nutrients, fiber, and antioxidants to help you power through your day. Enjoy with optional whipped coconut cream on top for an extra sweet indulgence!


Makes 1 Serving
•  12 oz unsweetened almond or macadamia milk
•  20-30g vanilla protein powder
•  1 Tbsp chia seeds
•  ¼ avocado
•  Juice of ½ a lemon
•  1 Cup baby spinach leaves
•  2 tsp fresh grated ginger root

Mix ingredients in a high speed blender until desired consistency. Pour into a glass, top with optional whipped coconut cream and enjoy!

Whipped Coconut Cream Topping: 
Refrigerate a can of coconut milk overnight. Open the can and whip the solidified coconut cream portion in a mixer until desired consistency.
