Where Homegrown WineMEETS ANTIQUE BEAUTY
Originally located in the heart of France’s Burgundy country, the Parish House is a magnificent site for those looking to sample the wines of Château Cal-a-Vie. Shipped from France and fully reconstructed on the property in 2018, this charming building was opened for guests to enjoy our distinctive estate reds and whites.
The Parish House
Dating back to c. 1715, the ‘Presbitaire’ building was built as a French priest’s residence adjacent to the Parish Church. Although it was reconstructed for the updated comfort of our modern guests, the traditional stone walls and rustic detailing serve as a reminder of the Parish House’s beautiful Bordeaux origins.
Our Own Wines
In 2007, proprietors Terri and John Havens converted 12 acres of land at Cal-a-Vie Health Spa into a small vineyard for Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot grapes. The estate now produces bottles of Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Rosé of Merlot. From oak-barrel aged distinction to a hint of strawberry and lavender, guests can choose the varietal that’s perfect for them.
